About Futbol

Futbol often called soccer by the US,  is a global team sport played amongst two teams consisting  of eleven players per team with a spherical ball. The objective of the sport is to score goals by getting the ball into the opponents net without the use of arms (except the goalkeeper of course) . It is played on a rectangular field with goals placed at the end of each side. It emphasizes teamwork, skill, endurance, teamwork, endurance, and ball control. Often called "The Worlds Greatest Sport," played amongst billions and watched.

While many ancient cultures had ball games (I.e Cuju in China, Kenmari in Japan, and various other forms in Mesoamerica and Europe), modern futbol evolved from 19th century England. Clubs and schools standardized the rules and regulations for the game.  This lead to the creation of the Football Association (FA) in 1863- marking the official birth of organized Futbol. Originating from England it spread like wild fire going across Europe and forward.
